Enable VT-X Setting

*To run emulators , VT-x Setting should be enable in BIOS.

To do this follow the procedure.

Step 1: 
While rebooting the laptop, enter to the system Bios by holding ‘Function + F2’ keys
Step 2: 

Go to ‘Configuration’ tab, and look for ‘Intel Virtualization Technology’. Most probably it may disabled. (Refer the image below)

Step 3: 

Enable it and hit ‘F10’ key to Save and Exit.
After booting up you are able to install Virtual Machine.
The same procedure is also applicable for almost every lap top in the market.

If it isn’t, you’ll see a message like “VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system,” “This host supports Intel VT-x, but Intel VT-x is disabled,” or “The processor on this computer is not compatible with Hyper-V.”

Enabling VT-x in ThinkPad\Thinkcenter Systems

1. First you will need to access your BIOS. 
2. Press Enter or Tap the touch screen during Lenovo start up screen.
   
   
    
3. Press Enter or Tap the touch screen during Lenovo start up screen. For more information, go to:

4. Navigate to Security tab, then press Enter on Virtualization.       ( Thinkpad )
5. Navigate to Advanced tab and press Enter on CPU Setup.         ( Thinkcenter )
   
   
   
    
6. Select Intel(R) Virtualization Technology, Press Enter, choose Enable and press Enter.
7. Press F10
8. Press Enter on YES to save the settings and boot into Windows;

Enabling VT-x in Lenovo\Idea Systems

1. First you will need to access your BIOS
2. Power off the computer. While the laptop is in power off state, press the Novo button to boot into BIOS. For more information:

3. Navigate to Configuration tab, and select Intel Virtual Technology. Switch to Enabled.
4. Press F10
5. Press Enter on YES to save the settings and boot into Windows
